Services

Everything below the finished surface

Six civil packages, delivered separately or as one programme from clearing through to a road ready for seal. All of it across the Perth metropolitan area.

Civil services

Scope · Earthworks

Bulk earthworks & site preparation

Getting a site from what it is to what the drawings say it should be. We clear and grub, strip topsoil for reuse, then cut and fill to the design surface — balancing material across the site wherever the levels allow so you are not paying to import sand and cart spoil at the same time.

Perth's sandy profile compacts well but is unforgiving if the subgrade is left soft or the batters are cut too steep. We proof-roll, moisture-condition and compact in controlled layers, and we call out unsuitable material rather than burying it.

  • Clearing, grubbing and topsoil stripping
  • Cut and fill to design levels
  • Sand pad and building platform construction
  • Subgrade preparation and proof rolling
  • Batter forming and site regrading
  • Bulk excavation and spoil removal
Scope · Subdivision

Subdivision civil works

The full civil package for a residential or mixed-use stage: lot grading to the approved levels, road formation, kerb and channel, footpaths, crossovers and service trenching for the utility authorities.

Subdivision work lives or dies on staging. We sequence the scope so lots reach a saleable, buildable level in the order you need them, and so the road network stays trafficable for the builders following behind.

  • Lot grading and retaining to approved levels
  • Road formation and pavement construction
  • Kerb, channel and footpath installation
  • Crossovers and driveway aprons
  • Service trenching and conduit installation
  • Staged handover to suit titles
Scope · Drainage

Stormwater & drainage

Perth disposes of most of its stormwater into the ground rather than into a river, which makes soakwells, leach drains and infiltration basins the backbone of a local drainage design. We install them to the engineer's detail and prove the system before it disappears under fill.

Where a piped network is required, pits and pipe runs are laid to grade, joints are checked and the trench is bedded and compacted properly — because a settled trench across a new road is the most expensive kind of rework.

  • Soakwells and leach drains
  • Gully, side-entry and junction pits
  • Piped stormwater networks laid to grade
  • Detention and infiltration basins
  • Subsoil drainage and dewatering
  • Connection to existing council drainage
Scope · Pavements

Roadworks & pavements

Road box excavation, subbase and basecourse supply and placement, trimming and compaction to level, then kerbing and preparation for asphalt or a two-coat bitumen seal. We work to the pavement design supplied, and we tell you if what is on the drawing does not match what is under the machine.

The same crews handle heavy-duty industrial pavements, access roads and car parks, where the loading and the finished tolerances are different from a residential street.

  • Road box excavation and trimming
  • Subbase and basecourse placement
  • Compaction and level verification
  • Kerb and channel construction
  • Preparation for asphalt or seal
  • Car parks, access roads and haul routes
Scope · Retaining

Limestone retaining & hardstand

Limestone block retaining is how level changes get resolved on most Perth sites. We excavate and compact the footing, set the blocks to line and level, and drain behind the wall so the fill does not push it out over the first wet winter.

Alongside that we build compacted hardstands for yards, laydown areas, wash-down bays and access tracks, using material selected for the loading the surface will actually see.

  • Limestone block retaining walls
  • Boundary and inter-lot level changes
  • Wall drainage and backfill
  • Compacted hardstands and laydown yards
  • Site access tracks and haul roads
  • Batters, swales and verge reinstatement
Scope · Plant

Plant hire & material haulage

Wet hire of excavators, dozers, loaders and rollers with experienced operators, for builders and contractors who need machine capacity for a stage rather than a full civil package.

We also cart material both ways — sand, limestone, road base and drainage aggregate in, spoil and cleared material out — with truck-and-dog combinations sized to the access the site actually has.

  • Wet-hire excavators with operators
  • Dozers, loaders and compaction rollers
  • Truck-and-dog cartage
  • Sand, limestone and road base supply
  • Spoil and demolition material removal
  • Short-term plant for constrained sites

Delivery sequence

The order the work happens in

Whether you engage us for one package or all six, the sequence on the ground does not change.

Stage 01

Set-out and survey

Design levels picked up, boundaries and batters marked, existing services located and confirmed.

Stage 02

Clear and bulk earthworks

Vegetation and unsuitable material out, cut and fill balanced, subgrade compacted and proof rolled.

Stage 03

Drainage and trenching

Soakwells, pits and pipes laid to grade, service trenches opened, everything checked before backfill.

Stage 04

Pavement and handover

Subbase and basecourse placed and trimmed to level, kerbing in, site cleaned and handed over.

Tell us the scope

Drawings, a suburb and a rough start date are enough for us to come back with a scope and a price.
